Obsidian (https://obsidian.md) is the single biggest software game-changer for me in recent years. It provides a one-stop shop for knowledge management, creative writing and task tracking. All in a very simple system of markdown notes. A bonus is that you can publish any of your notes to a public (or private) website - simply by clicking a couple of buttons. It is hard to think of an easier system for managing content of a website. If you want a website with bells and whistles, this is definitely not for you.
