The rain had cleared when we woke. ![[31-GNT - 1.jpeg]] It was an unusual place to spend the night, but suited us well. I wrote my blog as usual.... ![[31-GNT - 2.jpeg]] ... and we were off before 8:30. Stopped twice for charging the car, and crossed the border before lunch. ![[31-GNT - Map.jpeg]] A long line of heavy lorries queuing at the customs post.... ![[31-GNT - 4.jpeg]] After a lunch and recharge stop at Tanum, we reached home before 4pm. ![[31-GNT - 5.jpeg]] Having driven 5,234 kms in 31 days, we are filled with gratitude for safety, new experiences and times with friends. It's just good to be home. Ester wants to add a word.... ---- I echo Dad's gratitude to be home. It was quite an exciting adventure for me, and I enjoyed all the new smells, some good long walks, and spending lots of time with Mum and Dad. But I'm a bit fed up with lying in the boot for long drives.
